Greetings from UNISEL!
Every year, after the results of public examinations are announced, students have to make important decisions as to what courses to apply for in pursuit of their career goals.
They have to choose from an array of courses on offer by the various institutes of higher learning in and out of the country.
UNISEL, the first and currently the only State-owned private university in Malaysia, offers a wide variety of courses to suit the career aspirations of most students and working professionals.
The University has two campuses. The Shah Alam campus houses the Faculty of Biotechnology and Life Sciences, the Faculty of Biomedical and Health Sciences, the Faculty of Industrial Art and Design Technology, the Centre of Bio-IT Selangor, the Graduate School of Management and the Research and Consultancy Units.
The Bestari Jaya campus is much newer and houses the following faculties: Engineering, Information Technology, Industrial Management, Education, Social Science and Industrial Studies, Applied Science and Mathematics., and Languages.
We pride ourselves in that the courses are designed to meet the needs of industry. To bridge the gap between academia and industry, our students are required to undergo industrial training with relevant organisations. We are well-positioned to do this as Selangor is the industrial heart of the country.
