The Faculty of Science & Environmental Technology (FSTA) is founded to provide leadership in science and most significantly to facilitate the employability of science in the ever thought-provoking and growing industrial demands.
Besides its pioneer bachelor program, Bachelor of Science (Honors) Mathematics with Statistics, FAS also offers various foundation programs namely the Foundation in Science, Foundation in Management and Foundation in Information Technology courses. These programs prepare post-SPM students to pursue degree programs. It is a profound pathway for students to further tertiary education at affordable fees and adequate time frame (1 year) as compared to STPM and matriculation. Meanwhile, as for our bachelor program, it is especially premeditated to fabricate graduates that are well trained in the field of mathematics and statistics. It is expected that after completing the degree, students will be able to use various methods and techniques in problem solving and decision making. The curriculum is basically designed such as to cater the students for the working environment. It is not a rigid system that requires students to memorize but its dynamic syllabus molds the students into an all rounder. As to meet our motto as Learning University, FAS always incorporates current industrial practices into the teaching and learning processes. Â
As a new and blooming faculty, we look forward to new discoveries and new opportunities for research and development over the coming decades. Having quality education as our valuable asset which includes dedicate academicians, pleasant management employees and incomparable facilities, we are moving in parallel with our vision which is crystal clear reflected in the quality graduates that we produce.

Educate students to fulfill the evolving opportunities in industrial and technology, emphasizing the ability to integrate and to apply principles of science and mathematics creating a cordial working-together environment among students and members of the Faculty in exploring opportunities in science and mathematics.
