The Diploma in Medical Laboratory Technology offers an innovative curriculum designed to provide students with theoretical knowledge and practical skills in key areas of laboratory sciences. The program emphasizes:

• Clinical Laboratory Science: Students gain knowledge in areas such as hematology, microbiology, biochemistry, and immunology, focusing on diagnostic techniques and laboratory investigations.
• Laboratory Techniques and Instrumentation: Training on the use of advanced laboratory equipment and technology for precise sample analysis and reporting.
• Quality Assurance and Safety: Emphasis on laboratory safety protocols, quality control measures, and regulatory compliance in medical laboratory practices.
• Medical Ethics and Professionalism: Understanding ethical responsibilities, patient confidentiality, and professional conduct in healthcare settings.

SPM or equivalent with five (5) credits in the following subjects: Bahasa Malaysia; English; Mathematics; One (1) science subject (Biology/Physics/Chemistry/General Science/Applied Science); and Any other one (1) subject. OR GCE/O Level or equivalent with five (5) Grade C in the following subjects: English; Mathematics; One (1) science subject (Biology/Physics/Chemistry/General Science/Applied Science); and Any other two (2) subjects. OR Certificate related to Health Sciences with a minimum CGPA of 2.75
